Chapter 18

#18

“What are you reading?” Celestina asked, leaning in curiously as she caught a glimpse of the screen on William’s phone.

“Mutant mating habits,” he replied casually as if stating the weather.

Celestina blinked. “Mating habits?”

The corner of her lip curled in subtle disapproval, but the curiosity in her slitted pupils betrayed her.

“Why are you reading that?”

“Just for reference,” William said, shrugging. “I mean, if I’m going to be intimate with you, it’s better to be informed, right?”

Celestina’s eyes narrowed—but her smirk returned. There was a strange warmth blooming under her skin, one she didn’t expect. “So, you’re studying… for me?”

“You can say that,” he said, looking up at her with a small grin. “I heard Mutants are built differently. Enhanced physical strength. Sharp animalistic instincts. If I screw it up, you might bite my head off. Literally.”

Celestina chuckled. “No promises.”

Of course, that was a joke. There’s no way she would hurt him. Besides, she always had great control over her animal side. There’s no way she will lose control.

That was when Julia popped up from the side like a nosy kitten. “Wait, what? What are you talking about?” Her wide, fluffy ears twitched as she pointed accusingly. She looks at the siblings in shock, not expecting what they are talking about. “Why didn’t I hear about this?!”

Celestina’s smirk faded into something more guarded. “It’s not your business.”

“Not my business?!” Julia’s eyes went wide. “You knew I’ve always had a thing for your brother! And you—you kept shutting me down every time I brought it up. You said he’d never go for a mutant! You LIED!”

Her voice cracked, eyes shimmering with betrayal.

William winced. Celestina’s jaw tightened. The air shifted—thickening.

Julia had been her best friend. Her closest lover. A perverted little rabbit with too much energy and too few filters—but loyal in her own wild way. Celestina had stopped her time and again, not because she wanted William for herself, but because she’d been convinced it would only end in pain for Julia. After all, who knew William more than her?

William would never look at a woman the way she fantasized. Not to mention, he’s disgusted by mutants, something she had experienced all her life growing up with him.

But now?

William seems to have changed.

But that’s something she had never expected or even imagined before.

Celestina opened her mouth but hesitated. Could she even explain it? This thing between her and William wasn’t supposed to happen. It wasn’t planned, wasn’t rational. It just… happened. And she hadn’t told Julia, because a part of her didn’t want to admit how deeply she was beginning to care.

The silence stretched too long.

“You LIED,” Julia whispered, voice trembling.

Before the dam of emotion burst, William lifted his leg and lightly tapped Julia’s cheek with his toes, drawing her attention. Julia was surprised and looked at William.

“Celestina wasn’t lying,” he said softly. “This just started. This morning, even. And it’s not what you think, Julia.”

She stared at him, disbelief battling with hope. And instead of flinching away from his foot, she cradled it gently against her cheek—bunny ears twitching adorably. She was angry at her friend. At Celestina. However, looking at William, her anger deflated like a balloon.

“Really?”

“Yeah. So, don’t be mad at her,” he said. Julia found his gentle eyes looking at her, and she almost melted. There’s no defeating that look. Especially if those eyes look straight into her eyes. It’s like, even if he told her to jump off a building, she would obey without question.

“We’re figuring things out.”

“Figuring things out?”

“What happened before was not intentional. It just happens. Celestina didn’t mean to do anything, something like betraying you. And when she told you to steer away from me, she meant it. She only did that because she cared for you.”

“Will,”

William looks at his sister with a warm smile, understanding why she would do that even without her telling him. “I was, let’s just say, I’m  not so kind to women before.”

“Not kind is an understatement,” Celestina smirked.

William rolled his eyes. He returned his attention to Julia, rubbing his soles against her soft, big chest. “As she said. And I believe you already experienced my ‘aversion’ before. I did things in the past. Said things that might’ve hurt you.”

To this, Julia seems to agree.

“What about now?” she asked.

“What do you think?” William responded with a grin.

No other answers are needed. Julia beamed happily and asked, “… So, you’re okay with me?” she asked.

“I would not be here with you if I didn’t, right?”

“Even having sex with me?”

“I said I was okay. But that doesn’t mean you get to go berserk.”

Julia’s red eyes gleamed with mischief. “No promises.”

Celestina groaned, but there was no venom in it. Just the beginnings of a reluctant smile.

Julia plopped down on the bed beside William, curling up with a grin as she plopped her chest onto his, smiling and grinning like an idiot. Her blouse, already carelessly unbuttoned at the top, slipped further open with the motion—leaving her generous cleavage pressing firmly into his chest. Soft, warm, and dangerously close to exposure.

“No taking back what you said later!”

William shrugged, meeting her eyes—then letting his gaze dip, just briefly. The view down her blouse offered a generous, inviting sight: plush, vulnerable curves that almost begged to be touched.

His throat worked once. Julia who was only inches away from him, didn’t miss that. “They won’t bite,” she said, giggling while rubbing her soft breasts against his chest.

“They sure won’t,” William grinned before moving his hand and having a feel of their incredible softness.

Julia loved his touch, and she started to moan.

Celestina sat on William’s other side—quieter, more restrained. Her expression was unreadable, her golden eyes flickering with something between hesitation and longing. But then, without a word, she shifted closer. Her thigh brushed against his, and her tail slipped slyly along his calf. Subtle. Intentional. Her fingers grazed his arm, lingering just long enough to claim a place at his side—softly possessive, as if anchoring herself there.

Julia didn’t object. If anything, she leaned in even more, sighing with contentment. Her head nestled against William’s shoulder while her free arm stretched lazily behind his neck—then slid downward to rest on Celestina’s thigh with casual familiarity. Her fingers teased a slow circle just above the scales, dangerously close to the seam of heat and intimacy.

“I always imagined it’d be like this,” Julia murmured, voice dreamy, sultry. “The three of us. All tangled up. Like a mutant cuddle sandwich… warm, messy, and delicious.”

“You’re insane,” Celestina whispered. Her voice, usually sharp, had gone low and velvety. But she didn’t pull away. She didn’t flinch. If anything, she seemed to melt a little into her lover’s touch, eyelids lowering as if trying not to admit how much she enjoyed the contact.

“I’m insane,” Julia said with a crooked grin, “but you still love me.”

Celestina gave a breath of a chuckle—more exhale than sound—and leaned down. Their lips met with the quiet heat of familiarity, slow and searching. A kiss that said I’m still mad… but I missed you anyway.

“Sorry if I got mad at you,” Julia whispered between breaths.

“No,” Celestina replied, lips brushing hers. “I should’ve told you what happened between me and Will this morning.”

“It’s fine. But no lying next time, okay?”

“Technically…” Celestina smirked faintly, “…not saying anything isn’t lying. But yeah. Alright. I promise.”

Julia leaned up, kissing her again—deeper this time, her tongue sweeping in boldly. Celestina yielded for a moment, their mouths moving together in a slow, sultry rhythm as the tension from earlier unraveled into something warmer.

Meanwhile, William—still sandwiched between them—watched with a bemused expression as the two made out over his chest like he was a piece of furniture. Not that he minded. His hands had already found Julia’s breasts, cupping them tenderly from behind as she arched into his touch. The softness in his palms was mesmerizing, the way her body reacted—her breath hitching, her hips shifting—pulling him deeper into the moment.

Julia moaned softly, biting her lower lip between kisses. “Gods… your hands are dangerous.”

“And yet you keep crawling back to them,” William murmured near her ear, letting one thumb brush her nipple in slow, teasing circles. She gasped and pressed harder into him.

Celestina looked down at them, one brow raised, amusement flickering across her face. “Perverts,” she muttered—but her voice held no bite.

Then Julia’s expression shifted—still playful, but shadowed by something quieter. She twirled a strand of her snowy hair around one finger, a faint smirk curling her lips. “You know… I used to think this sort of thing would never happen.”

William glanced at her, sensing the change in tone.

“I thought men don’t like anything to do with Mutants,” Julia said, voice still laced with humor, but carrying a brittle edge. “Just thinking about sleeping with one grossed them out, you know? Like… just as much as thinking about fucking a woman’s ass. I heard they completely abhor that.”

The room stilled.

“Julia.” Celestina’s voice snapped through the air, sharp as a blade. Her golden eyes were suddenly hard, narrowed.

Julia shut her mouth with a dramatic click, red eyes blinking up innocently at William as if she’d just been accused of kicking a puppy. But the smirk on her lips was unmistakable—smug, teasing, and more than a little wicked.

“It’s fine,” William said calmly, his voice mellow. He glanced at Celestina as he lifted a hand and gently ran his fingers through her hair, smoothing it away from her face. “I don’t mind the language, Tina.”

Celestina gave him a hard squint, unconvinced. “Last time I said fuck by accident, you chewed me out for an entire day.”

William coughed and averted his eyes, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. “W-well, that was before… I mean, I’m different now.”

Celestina tilted her head, ears twitching with suspicion. “And where is that difference you spoke of, hmm?”

He shrugged helplessly. “…I can take that kind of language now, okay? I’ve done it with you, and I’m… willing to do more in the future. I wouldn’t have even thought about it if I was, you know, normal.”

Celestina stared at him in silence. Her eyes, usually sharp and full of control, softened just a bit, like melting ice. Then, slowly, she nodded. “I guess you have a point. But I’m curious—what has changed? You’re suddenly acting weird. It was just yesterday you couldn’t even look me in the eyes without blushing like a virgin schoolboy.”

William’s lips twitched into a faint smile. “I just… woke up.”

“Woke up?” Celestina echoed; her tone skeptical.

“I love sex…” he said bluntly.

There was a beat of silence.

Julia, who had settled herself at his feet like a smug cat, let out a soft gasp. She’d been gently massaging his foot in her lap, stroking slow, lazy circles into the arch. Her fingers paused for just a second—then resumed, slower, more deliberate. Her eyes glittered with new interest.

Celestina blinked at him, her tail giving a single flick. “So… you really like it now?”

William nodded, just once. “Yeah.”

She didn’t say anything, but her hand, which had been resting lightly on his chest, began to move—soft, slow strokes across the fabric of his shirt. She was feeling his heartbeat. Or maybe reassuring herself that he was still the William she knew.

Julia grinned. “Wow, that’s hot. If you wanna do it, I’m always free~ Or better yet…” She leaned forward, lips brushing near his knee. “Why don’t we take each other’s virginity?”

Celestina growled. “He’s not a virgin anymore.”

“Oh?” Julia blinked, all mocking innocence. “Have you two done it already?”

“Yes,” Celestina said flatly, her tone dripping with territorial confidence.

Julia’s eyes gleamed with wicked delight. “Did he cum inside you?”

Celestina opened her mouth to answer. But then—paused. Her face twitched. Just a bit.

She had climaxed—unexpectedly, completely—but he hadn’t finished inside her. And somehow, that made her feel… off-balance. She didn’t like the implication, especially not in front of her. Not in front of Julia.

Julia’s smirk widened. “He didn’t, did he?”
