Chapter 95: Before the party returns

Sofia couldn’t sleep. Her body burned, the image of Kiara drowning in lust imprinted in her mind. The next morning, she saw Kiara looking fresh and relaxed, empowered by Edmund’s boundless vitality.

“Had a good sleep, Sofia?” Kiara said, cheerfully. The increased corruption brought her a step further away from Aman. In Kiara’s heart, at the moment, Aman was really nothing more than a teammate. Her affection for the hero shrunk smaller with each growth in corruption.

She didn’t answer the knight. The eyebags and her pale face was all Kiara needed to know.

“I think you can rest today, Sofia. I’ll handle it. Get some sleeping herbs from the local alchemist and sleep.”

Sofia wanted to say no, but realized Kiara was right. She- she was too bothered by the past few nights and she couldn’t go practice this way. Luckily the sleeping herbs helped put her to sleep soon after, and she slept the entire afternoon.

“Had a good nap, Captain Sofia?” Edmund smiled as he approached the woman having her overdue lunch and dinner at the inn alone. It was evening, and the sun was already halfway down the distant hills. It gave the entire fortress city a golden glow, and if it wasn’t a time of war, it would be a beautiful place to visit.

“You are a dirty, lecherous man.” Sofia cursed when he approached as her face flushed as the memory of what happened last night returned. Yet, it made a strong impression on the swordswoman and soldier.

“We are consenting adults, Captain Sofia. I did not force her into it, it is merely an agreement that both of us agreed to.”

Sofia blushed, her face as red as a tomato. “What will you do to her?”

“Kiara?”

“Yes. What- what’s your objective?”

“If all goes well, she will have many children with me, she’ll grow up to be a mother and raise the future children of the Kenarias family. Her family blood has many talented sword masters and knights, and it would be a shame if that bloodline ended with her.”

Sofia couldn’t believe how seriously Edmund answered. “What?”

“What? Is something wrong with that outcome?”

Sofia blinked repeatedly as she struggled to cook up a response. So since the topic was on children, she asked. “She’s going to have your children?”

“She’s a healthy, talented, fertile young woman who can probably have five, no, maybe seven children.” Edmund said. “Wait. What was your question? If you’re asking whether I am trying to make her pregnant, the answer is yes.” Edmund lied, of course. He wasn’t going to make her pregnant. His demonic-energy liquids only enhanced the corruption, but pregnancy was far away.

Sofia stared at Edmund, shocked. “You can’t- she still needs to fight the demons!”

“Are you not good enough? I heard good things about you from Kiara. With you in the party, I should be able to take Kiara home and make a mother out of her.” Edmund chuckled. “As you are aware, I am not married, but I do need heirs to pass my wealth to, eventually.”

The Captain blinked. “Why don’t you marry someone?”

“Noble nonsense and stupid noble traditions.” Edmund said. “Have you never realized how nobles only marry other nobles, and it so happens that I generally don’t like the other nobles. But, I happen to like Kiara a lot, and I do want to make her a happy woman. I like women too much to settle for only one.”

The words, ‘happy woman’, however, only ignited Sofia’s memory of the blissfully horny knight riding the chubby noble’s fat dragon like a hungry beast. In fact, the image of Kiara as the prim and proper noble was so different from the lust-controlled beast that wanted the man.

“You’ve never felt happiness like that, isn’t it?” Edmund teased the Captain.

The soldier’s heart pounded, but once again, she tried her best to resist it. “Don’t talk nonsense!”

“Alright.” Edmund said as Kiara walked through the door, back from her training. “Kiara’s back. See you next time.”

This time, he didn’t offer to let her watch. If she wanted it, she would have to ask for it.

That night, Edmund closed the door, but Sofia could hear them from her room. The moans of pleasure. The blissful screams and words that Kiara said. At night, the knight was a different woman. A woman that craved for a man’s sword.

Sofia, even though she tried her best to ignore it and hide in her room, began to masturbate to their moans that night. Yet, even though she orgasmed to her own fingers, she knew, as if by instinct, that it is incomparable to the intense look of pleasure that Kiara had.

The simmering lust burned a little bigger, and brighter within her heart.

A bit of jealousy also began to burn.

***

The next day, it was more of the same. Kiara seemed to conduct herself perfectly normally, as if the night’s trysts and passions did not tire her, while Sofia, woke up feeling deeply unsatisfied and hungry. For Sofia, the hero couldn’t come back soon enough. She knew it would stop once they were back, so if they were back earlier, Edmund Natar would stop coming.

But Edmund placed enough distractions and undead to keep the hero party busy. Enough that they would be delayed on their way back, by a day or so. Aman, Raven and Bianca were too busy fighting undead for anything to happen, and the constant harassment from the undead meant they never got time to do anything beyond their scouting duties.

“Feeling better?” Kiara asked as Sofia returned to practice that day. She took yesterday to sleep in, and it did help. But duties now called.

“Yeah.” Sofia said. She watched as Kiara taught the soldiers of Northengard. The soldiers of this city were of better quality than Errama. Errama’s soldiers were underpaid, and the frequent attacks from the previous demon lord meant many of them were injured. Northengard, on the other hand, had far better soldiers. Some of them improved quite well.

“Good. You can help with the practice spars with the soldiers.”

***

“Are you- are you really going to do that every night?” Sofia asked as the two took some time to rest after a few hours of spars with the soldiers.

Kiara nodded without skipping a beat. At this point, it was all she looked forward to. In fact, it was the best part of her day.

“He- he wants to put babies in you.” Sofia said, as if that would scare her.

Kiara touched her belly and found the idea of having the man’s baby interesting. She smiled, and felt her liquid filled womb. “That- that would be nice.”

Sofia stared at Kiara’s blissful face in disbelief. “-you- you are happy about that? What- what about Aman?”

Kiara shook her head. “I have no chance with Aman. He’ll choose someone else, and that’s fine. What about you, Sofia? Are you also planning to go after Aman?”

The soldier blushed. It was true that she was lovestruck at first sight, as if a lightning bolt zapped her when the hero came and rescued them. But after that initial euphoria, and unbeknownst to her, the presence of Edmund’s demonic energies, some of that fascination diminished. “he- he is interesting.”

“I believe the King promised anyone who defeated the demon lords can have his daughter’s hand in marriage.” Kiara said. “I believe a few noblemen also made similar offers.”

Sofia, however, didn’t stop. “Edmund said he likes multiple women.”

Kiara shrugged. “I know.”

“Why are you so alright with that?’

“Is it better to have to share my pleasure and happiness, or to not have any happiness at all?”

Sofia blinked. “But- but- there are other people out there. Not just the hero.”

“You know that option is not available to me.” Kiara said with a contented smile. “Count Edmund’s the best chance I have, and I will cherish it.”

The soldier captain looked at Kiara’s contented, satisfied face and wondered, perhaps amplified by her lust. “Is- is it really so good that you’ll give the hero up?”

Kiara didn’t need to answer, because Sofia immediately remembered the blissful look of the knight.
