Third-person, Girl POV
Girl’s fate was a simple one. Her story follows the same way. She was also captured and would spend days or weeks in captivity. As she was the most attractive one available, she would not be touched in a sexual way but would still be forced to watch as others suffered the same fate. This was to make her fear them. This act would be used often and with threats that she would develop a fear for men that would last for her whole life.
“Hmm?”
Girl opens her eyes and see an unfamiliar ceiling. She stares in daze as she remembers what happened. Eventually, girl would be saved thanks to ninja as well. Since ninja was investigating and she would not be captured. She would then follow them back and seeing the torture they put them through, would reach out to the local adventurer’s guild to assist. But she is never recorded nor known as she does not introduce herself.
“Mistress?”
Girl looks around and she sees that she is in a room similar to an inn.
“Where is everyone?”
Girl stands up and looks around the room. The room seems to have been recently cleaned and she does not see any personal belongings. She opens the door and sees ninja standing outside carrying a bunch of stuff.
“Oh, you’re awake. Good. I thought you would be sleeping for longer.”
‘What happened? Where is-“
“Shh. Let’s talk inside.”
Girl nods as she enters the room. She waits while ninja looks through the stuff she brought.
“Sorry, just give me a bit.”
After girl is rescued, she is brought to the local adventurer’s guild. Due to her ongoing fear of men, her talk does not go well with the Guild leader. Eventually, she would leave and wander. She does not have any belongings nor relatives she can rely on. She has lost everything on that day. And that is how it would have ended for her.
“Here, take these.”
Ninja piles some clothes and personal items on the bed beside girl.
“Huh? What are these?”
I figured you would need some stuff. Don’t worry, I got plenty of money before we got captured. Mistress never took them so I just used all of these. You can also have some of it. I won’t really need it when I go back so it would be better for you to use it.”
“Where is mistress?”
“Ah. I forgot you didn’t know. She abandoned you.”
“She did?”
“Yeah. She said a lot of complicated stuff, you know how she is but she essentially said that she doesn’t need you anymore and just told me to take you away.”
“Oh.”
“Wait, why are you sad? Shouldn’t you be happy?”
“Are you happy?”
“Duh. I ain’t gonna be forced to massage her or be her pillow at night.”
“Didn’t you say you did those things anyway?”
“The massage, yes but the pillow, no!”
“Oh. Okay.”
Girl looks down in sadness again and ninja scratches her head.
“I did have fun for a little bit. Just a little, okay!”
Girl looks surprised and she eventually smiles.
“I can see Mistress doing that. I would have liked it if she told me personally though.”
Ninja sits down besides girl and taps her head. Girl looks towards her but ninja evades her gaze.
“I think she didn’t want to tell you face to face. You would’ve objected. I think she was willing to tell me since she isn’t that nice to me.”
“Maybe.”
There was a brief silence between the two.
“So, what are all of these for?”
Before long, girl was the first one to speak up.
“Ah, right. I gotta go soon. I am already late since I got captured. The longer I stay here, the madder she would get.”
“You mean madam?”
“Yeah. She’s really scary when she gets mad. I know you ain’t got anywhere to go but I can’t bring you with me so I bought all of this with my extra money.”
“I assume you can’t tell me what you do?”
“Nope! Sorry! But mistress already said it so I am a spy, I can tell you that much.”
“Thank you for your help, miss spy.”
Ninja stands up and opens the window.
“I gotta go now. I’ll be sure to greet ya if we ever meet again!”
Ninja jumps from the roof and disappears from girl’s view.
“I am alone again.”
Girl takes out a pendant she has hidden the whole time. When she was about to be captured, she hid it inside her clothes. Luckily, she would have this pendant with her in both timelines.
“What do I do now?”
Girl has nothing to do. She has no goals in her life. She did think of trying to find mistress but she doesn’t know a lot about her to act on it.
“Excuse me. May I see that pendant?”
After a few days, someone would recognize her pendant. It was an old gentleman. This gentleman would adopt her as his own daughter and she would be brought to another country for her legacy. This pendant was proof of her lineage and she would be the one to inherit it. Her fear for men would never disappear and while the gentleman would treat her well, he would use her fear to make decisions that would benefit him. Of course, she would still have a long life unlike what happened to the child.
“Huh? Why?”
“I have been looking for that pendant for a long time.”
Girl clutches it and backs away.
“Please do not misunderstand. I have no intention of taking it away. Would you be willing to talk with me?”
Girl thinks about it and decides to accept. This location is far from where the gentleman would have found her. So, she meets a large woman instead. She looks like a paladin with a bulky body to match. Girl accepts and leads her inside her room.
“Would you please come with me back to our church?”
“A church?”
“Yes! We have been searching for this symbol on a pendant. Would you please accompany me back there?”
“Sure but would you do something for me first?”
“Anything!”
Thus, girl’s story has slightly changed. What this change will bring is something only the future will show.
