The story takes place in a marvel universe that is fusion of 616 in the comics and the MCU. Some of the Marvel characters are warped a little, but not much. Some of the situations that Marvel characters have to deal with would never happen in a comic or the MCU because it just wouldn’t sell. BUT the characters do react in a way that is entirely plausible considering the characters’ backstories. I don’t correct actual grammar mistakes because I do them on purpose for writing purposes, but I do enjoy people correcting spelling/ editorial mistakes that slip through the software (I do go back and delete those comments though since they take up too much space). If you have comments, questions, or suggestions, then the comment section is the place (I do make super long or irrelevant comments into spoilers. I haven’t had any actual spoilers, but I’ll delete the comment if that’s the case)

I never imagined my life would take such an unexpected turn. I always saw myself as an ordinary, discreet, and predictable person. A college student majoring in economics, heir to a large company, trapped in a monotonous routine and the feeling that my future was already mapped out, with nothing that truly made me special.

This bizarre dynamic only continues as they grow into adults, Chiori never letting go of acting as spoiled as she was as a child, and Takumi reluctantly going along. However, this only further complicates things as Chiori begins to harbor one-sided feelings for her reliable other brother, and Takumi plans to avoid her, perhaps for good, as he’s unable to deal with the responsibilities arising from this complicated situation.

Yet what he may not realize, is that those feelings could have been mutual all along. Yet whether those around them could accept such a thing or not, is a fear he cannot let go of.

When the truth is laid bare, will they remain able to rely on one another, or will their relation break under pressure?
