After his reincarnation into a world that blends reality with video game elements, Alex, a former recluse, uncovers a troubling aspect of his new world: slavery is permitted. Despite his ethical reservations, he is enthralled by the chance to finally end his years of quiet, lonely suffering when he meets the beautiful and powerful slave girl named Yua. And it just so happens that she’s up for sale.

Giving into temptation, Alex spends nearly all the gold he has to his name to acquire her, he realizes just how disastrous his hasty decision truly was, and not merely due to his own troubled conscience.

Now, Alex is compelled to exhaust himself fighting in the dungeons beneath the Great City of Amoranth to earn more gold and to secure Yua’s safety, as her former master has threatened her life (and Alex’s) should he fail to repay the debt he incurred from her purchase. Trying to do right by her, even while dealing with her unending sass, he struggles to maintain what he now holds very dear. At the same time, Yua grapples with her perception of Alex, wondering if he embodies the same type of brutal and unforgiving master she always feared would one day claim her, even though deep down, she suspects she already knows the answer.

After an untimely death, Velen Arcturus, found himself as a formless soul in Hell. This wasn’t a great surprise to him, he wasn’t exactly what one could call a good person after all. However, when he’s told that rather than being punished, he’s being reincarnated into another world with his memories intact, he can’t help but be excited. Only problem is, they want him to kill some Outsiders, or the next time he dies his soul will be destroyed.
And so begins a journey in a new world.

Author’s Note: My first foray into actual writing something for public consumption. I don’t particularly have a full roadmap of this story planned, so it could really go anywhere. Things are subject to change at my whim, though I’m not above being influenced, so feel free to leave criticism, or even things you might like to see. Seriously the amount of things that have completely changed, because of a single comment are tremendous. Don’t be afraid to drop a comment or a dm if you want a question answered either.
