#23
William passed by the living room and caught sight of his mother lounging on the couch, half-watching a movie with a bowl of half-melted ice cream on the coffee table.
She wore a loose T-shirt and shorts, her legs tucked under her, relaxed but distant.
“Hey Mom, is the movie good?” he asked as he walked in.
She glanced at him over the rim of her glasses. “Better than I thought,” she said. Then, without missing a beat, “You done?”
William knew what she meant about that and replied, “Yes,” casually.
Allison smiled and patted the space beside her, and William sat there.
“Did you have fun?”
“You saw us?” William asked worriedly.
“I don’t need to see when you’re all screaming…” Allison rolled her eyes. “Although I didn’t expect you would be so ‘close’ with Celes now… when did it start?”
“Just this morning,” William saw Allison’s indifferent expression, and finally, he heaved a sigh of relief. It seems like she’s taking this much better than he could imagine.
Although I guess it’s true that having sex with a family member is treated as normal in this world, huh. I’ve read about it on the net, but personally experiencing it still feels different.
“Well, as long as you’re enjoying it. But don’t overdo it too much, okay.”
“I will,”
Allison smiled gently. She patted the space beside her and said, “Come here. Are you hungry? Should I make you anything?”
“Well, I was about to grab some ice cream, but I see my beautiful mother is so lonely. I guess I can’t leave my mother alone, now, can I?”
Allison paused, “And how do you know I am lonely?”
“Mom, I think I know you pretty well in and out to know if you’re happy or lonely,” he said before leaning against her.
“Is that so? I guess you need to give your old mother company,”
Allison looks at her son and smiles before pulling him close to her.
Kissing him on the forehead, she wrapped her arms around him.
William snuggled closer with his head resting on her soft, abundant chest.
The best pillow in the world.
“I have some ice cream here, if you don’t mind that I’ve eaten a few scoops,” she said while pointing at the bowl of ice cream on the table.
“Well then, don’t mind me,” William, of course, didn’t mind and immediately picked up the bowl and started eating.
From time to time, Allison would run her hand up and down his back, which felt so nice. It all seemed perfectly natural and innocent.
William turned his attention to the movie playing on the screen.
It was an action movie- it seems like his mother in this world loves action movies, along with sci-fi, fantasy, or adventure flicks. It’s the complete opposite of what his mother likes back in his previous world- the one in this world seems to have a man’s taste, so to speak.
“Was it boring?”
“Hm?”
William turned to Allison in confusion.
“The movie,” she said. “We can change it to some romantic movies, if you like,”
William shook his head. “It’s fine. The movie is good, and I’m getting curious about how it’s gonna end. Would she save her son? Probably, she would, right? After all, this is a movie.”
“Well, I guess, she did. But this woman is pitiful… well, I guess her son as well.”
“Have you seen this movie?”
“Yeah… once. But I’m not going to spoil anything,” she gives him a teasing smile.
William lay his head gently on her lap, refocusing on the flickering images of the movie playing on the screen. Her bare thighs, smooth and warm beneath his palms, felt softer than any blanket he’d known, comforting in a way that grounded him amid everything swirling in his mind.
He slid his hands slowly around her legs, letting his fingers trace light, lazy patterns, inhaling the familiar, earthy scent she always carried. It was subtle, musky, and somehow uniquely hers—intoxicating without effort.
Allison didn’t pull away. Instead, she let out a soft sigh, tilting her head down to look at him, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
Her fingers threaded into his hair, stroking it gently, her touch tender but confident.
She was completely focused on her son—her usual distracted demeanor gone—and her eyes glistened with an affection so deep it could drown any man who dared meet her gaze.
In one hand, she casually held a can of beer, taking slow sips between strokes of his hair. The other rested loosely on his shoulder, fingers lightly drumming to the movie’s background music.
“So… what’s been going on with you lately? You’ve barely gone out. No more shopping sprees or late nights with your friends?”
William shrugged, a slight smile playing on his lips.
“I keep telling them I’m busy, which isn’t exactly a lie.”
“Busy with what?” Allison’s tone was teasing, but there was genuine concern underneath.
William hesitated, then decided to keep it simple.
“Adjusting. Resting… enjoying my time with all of you.”
She nodded, finishing the last of her beer before setting the empty can on the coffee table.
“Is that so?”
She shifted slightly, pressing her fingers more firmly into his scalp, her touch sparking a pleasant shiver down his spine.
Their conversation drifted easily, flowing between light jokes and questions about the movie. William found himself relaxing more than he had in days.
The movie played on, but their focus had shifted.
“Hey,” she whispered, voice low and husky. “You okay?”
He nodded, meeting her gaze.
“Better than okay.”
His fingers found her waist, pulling her just a little closer.
“I like being here with you, Mom.”
She leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to his temple, then another to his forehead.
“I like having you here, too,” she murmured. “Right here. Right now.”
A silence stretched between them, thick with everything unsaid.
William could feel her warmth beneath him, smell the faint trace of her perfume mixed with the lingering scent of beer. It was a simple moment—two people wrapped in quiet, intimate comfort—but it carried the weight of affection and love.
“You know,” she said softly, “sometimes I wonder if you even realize how much you mean to me.”
William’s breath caught.
“I’m not always good at showing it,” he admitted, voice rough.
“You don’t have to say it. I feel it.”
He closed his eyes, savoring the sensation of her touch, the steady beat of her heart beneath his ear. When he opened them again, she was watching him, eyes full of warmth and something deeper—something like hope, or maybe fear.
“Maybe we should just stay like this a little longer,” Allison said, her voice barely above a whisper.
William’s smile was slow, genuine. “I think I’d like that.”
The movie’s pace slowed slightly, moving into its final act. Gunfire gave way to raw emotion as the screen dimmed into a more somber, heart-wrenching sequence.
Allison cracked open another can of beer earlier and now held it lazily in one hand. She was halfway through it, casually sipping now and then. A bowl of spicy nuts sat nearby, one hand occasionally dipping in to grab a handful between scenes. Her attention, however, wasn’t truly on the film.
Her other hand was devoted solely to William, stroking his messy hair, fingers brushing over his scalp in comforting rhythms. Her gaze flicked between the screen and the man resting against her, and it lingered on him far longer than it ever did on the movie.
“Mmm,” she murmured, her voice low and mellow from the beer, “that feels good. Keep doing that.”
William smirked, turning his face slightly and pressing a gentle kiss to her inner thigh. “You’re soft. I can’t help it.”
“Are you calling me fat?” Allison chuckled, the sound low and throaty.
“Nope. There’s no way you are. Your body is just soft~”
“Flatterer. You always say just the right thing.”
He grinned, not answering. His fingers continued their slow exploration, and her hand drifted down, resting on his chest. Her thumb began to draw lazy circles over his shirt. The intimacy of it all felt oddly normal—like they had done this a hundred times before, and would do it again a hundred more.
Then the movie shifted.
William sat up slightly, propping himself on one elbow, now more engrossed. “This scene… It’s brutal.”
Allison nodded, leaning forward and resting her beer on the side table. “Told you it wasn’t just action. The story goes hard.”
“No kidding. Look at her go. Every shot, every swing… damn.”
The female lead, battered and bleeding, tore through her enemies with ruthless precision. Even with a broken leg, she fought with such ferocity that it made William sit up straighter. When she lost her weapon and resorted to biting a woman’s throat, he let out a, “Holy shit!” and Allison laughed in delight.
“She’s a beast,” Allison said, pride in her voice, like she’d directed the damn thing herself.
William leaned back again, shifting to lie across her lap, but this time with his face turned toward her. “She’s brutal. But she’s really good. You can feel the emotion as if this is not a movie, but real life.”
“Isn’t it? I heard the budget was minimal for the movie, but her acting carried the entire show.”
“Although the panty shots seemed unnecessary.” William chuckled.
“Oh? But it seems like someone liked it~” Allison smirked before grabbing the bulge tenting on his pants.
“It’s not like I can help it. It’s a biological reaction.”
He shifted upward, his lips brushing hers lightly. A slow, teasing kiss. Allison didn’t resist. Her lips parted, and the kiss deepened, lazy and warm, like they had all night.
Their mouths moved together, unhurried. Her hands cupped his face as he climbed slightly onto her, their chests pressing close. His fingers slipped under the hem of her shirt, exploring the heat of her skin.
“When did you become so horny?” she whispered between kisses.
He smirked. “You love it.”
She pulled him in again, their mouths molding, teeth grazing. When they finally broke apart for air, she was breathless, her beer long forgotten. Her arms wrapped around him, pulling him down to her chest again.
“Stay like this,” she whispered.
He did.
The movie continued playing, but neither of them was watching anymore. Instead, they lay there in each other’s arms, hands exploring, lips brushing, breathing in sync. Now and then, William would murmur something against her skin—a compliment, a tease, or simply her name—and she would hum in response, fingers tracing the curve of his back.
William lay his head on her lap and refocused on the movie. His mother’s thighs, bare and silky smooth, felt warmer than any blanket he’d known. He slid his hands around her soft thighs. He could smell her musky scent and enjoyed it.
Allison didn’t stop him and enjoyed his caress. She was very happy to have this moment when her attention was solely on her son rather than in the movie. She was stroking his hair lovingly, looking at him with affection that could drown any man.
Her eyes locked onto him. From time to time, she would chat and talk, asking him about many things, about his hobbies, why he was not going out anymore with his friends, and going out shopping. William answered them promptly- though somewhat surprised that he had friends in this world.
He did have some friends in his previous world, but they were more acquaintances than friends.
There are some guys whom he can count on when he needs, but they are usually in another city, building their lives. They can only get together a few times in a year, though every get-together was a blast.
Nevertheless, the movie is fucking amazing!
The female lead is doing quite good in her action scenes, and every swing of the gun felt even more incredible. The expression on the actor’s faces and the CGI are fantastic. Still, as Allison said, the female lead did manage to save her son. However, it was a bit late.
Her son had become addicted to drugs and even became a prostitute, servicing women left and right, and he’s no more in his right mind. Like a lifeless doll.
The female lead was devastated by what her son had experienced- the burst of emotion is unreal. She was surely getting an Oscar for this. Well, if Oscar does exist in this world.
She went on a rampage and slaughtered every man and woman in the building. Blood bursts, flowing like a river. The way she fought despite the wounds on her body, limping when her legs were broken, biting with her teeth to tear away a woman’s throat when she loses her gun… the movie looked so fucking real!
The fight ended.
Although the organization she was fighting had not been exterminated, she was able to escape from the building with her son.
The movie then ended with her staying on a farm with her son, still looking blankly and unresponsive.
But she held on, living life happily.
It was amazing.
William chatted with his mom about the movie, telling each other what they think.
Time moves faster when you’re enjoying the moment, and night comes.
Evelyn appeared and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner while Allison was sleeping soundly on the couch. William stayed with her, watching some news.
It was then a figure came waltzing from the stairs, and when William saw who it was, he found his cute little sister Diana walking toward him with drowsy eyes. When she found him, she smiled and immediately ran towards where he was.
Unlike the other women in the house who were still hesitant about touching him, Diana had none of that and would happily ask for skinship whenever they met. She climbed on the couch and happily hugged him.
“Did you stay up late again?” he asked while stroking her hair.
“Hmm,” she hummed.
“Haah, you know mom already told you not to play too many video games, right?”
“It’s fine, I’ve finished my homework.”
“I don’t think that’s the point.” William smiled wryly.
But he didn’t want to sound too nagging, so he could only drop it and resumed his attention on the TV.
Diane was now lying on his body, her head against his chest with a big smile on her face.
After an hour or so, Daniela arrived home.
“Welcome back,”
Daniela hugged him without a word and kissed him, full of passion.
They went on at it for a minute before she separated herself from him.
“Yep, I’m home,” she said.
“I’ll go wash up for a bit,” she said and went upstairs.
Celestina and Julia came down a moment later. Julia immediately runs toward William the moment she sees him and starts caressing her head against his chest, causing Celestina to frown. But since William didn’t seem to mind, she only let out a sigh.
She dragged Julia down, who clung to him, toward another sofa and glared at her.
“Our promise. Don’t forget,” she growled.
“I know…” Julia pouted. But she was more behaved compared to before. Though she kept sending him flirtatious gazes, which amused William.
Allison woke up and went to the kitchen to help Evelyn.
After a while, her head popped out from the kitchen and she said; “Dinner’s ready. Daniela, come and prepare the plates. Tina, prepare some juice, will you, dear?”
“…oka,y Mom.”
“I, I’ll help Mrs. Grant.”
“Oh, thank you, Julia. Can you grab this then?”
“Yes!”
Julia happily ran over to the kitchen and started helping prepare dinner.
