It’s been a long time since I updated. A lot happened to me IRL which unfortunately rendered me unable to resume writing the story. I don’t want to elaborate on my reasons now, and I don’t think they matter. I was able to write in general, but there was no way for me to continue a long project. In general I couldn’t write a project bigger than a short practice piece. In other words, I could practice, but couldn’t write amd publish a proper web novel. However, it changed recently.
I can finally resume writing, and start my second big project. I won’t talk about the second big project yet, and focus on continuation of this story. During my ‘time off’ I kept taking notes, thinking of how to continue the story and make it better. All while leaving the original concept untouched. All of it happened along with honing of my writing skills. And this is where the problems rise.
The fact is, my writing style changed so much, I simply can’t continue writing this story as is. I can’t emulate the writing I used to have. Just in case, I talk about the technical aspect of my writing. Not only grammar, but the way I phrased sentences, paragraphing, etc. It’s obvious to me the writing was real bad, and I like to think the new one is improved.
Why am I writing this? That’s because I decided to rewrite the story. I really cherish every reader who kept waiting for continuation, and that’s why I don’t want to change anything related to plot. Dialogues would mostly stay the same, same for characters. The main change will be the writing style and clarity. It will be easier for readers to understand what I wanted to convey.
And to do this, I need your help. I need a couple of readers that can read two versions of the first chapter, and tell their opinions on it. I will wait for a couple of days before contacting you with SH PMs. And I hope I will get one or two volunteers. ^▽^’
And this is a good place to say that this version of the story won’t get updated anymore. I’m sorry to every reader who was waiting for a new chapter, and get this isntead. BUT, I believe the new version will be a lot better, and you will enjoy it a lot more.
