We double-timed it through the snowy forest, jumping from tree branch to tree branch. To recap our formation, Kiba, Akamaru and Naruto were in the vanguard. Kiba and Akamaru scouted ahead with Naruto on standby, ready to cover attacks from the front and flanks with his clones. I was in the middle behind Naruto, while Hinata was behind me with Kouta keeping an eye out in all directions with their combined Byakugan. In the rear, Shino was in command, watching Kouta closely. We all maintained a distance of four metres in case of explosions.
At our pace and with no further delays, it didn’t take us long to reach the border between the Land of Frost and Lightning. We only had to make camp once, resting for a total of ten hours. Everyone got six hours of sleep and two hours on watch. We didn’t give Kouta any watch duty.
Hinata and I felt guilty for ditching Naruto without any warning back at the inn in the Frost Village, so we each gave him a sneaky blowjob when it was the end of our watches. But apart from that, there were no sexy shenanigans.
We finally arrived at the border at midday. Since we had Kouta now, a rogue Frost ninja, we couldn’t use the official border crossing and had to sneak across at a random point in the woods, meaning we would have to add extra travel time to head north once inside the Land of Lightning to meet up with our pre-arranged Cloud escort.
When we reached the official border crossing, the sun was getting low. We were already on the Lightning side, so even though the Frost ninja stationed there could see Kouta, they didn’t have the jurisdiction to cross and try to capture or kill him. They glared at him, though, as his name must have already been added to the Bingo Book.
I gave him a hopefully reassuring shoulder squeeze as Shino met up with our escort, a standard three Cloud ninja team, one jonin, and two chunin.
Since the border with the Land of Steam and Frost was closed now, we would go the long way around to get back to the Leaf on our return, meaning we weren’t planning to re-enter the Land of Frost. That was probably for the best.
As Shino confirmed our respective orders with the Cloud jonin, I got a good look at her and her team. She was a beautiful, but stoic-looking woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin and a massive rack.
She had modified the standard Cloud outfit into a grey low-cut dress, a short skirt, and a white Cloud flak jacket covering only her stomach. Under it, she wore the standard mesh fishnet armour that covered her cleavage.
Her two underlings were a dark-skinned man and woman. The man had short spiky white hair and eyebrows, and the woman’s hair was spiky, shoulder-length, and red.
The man wore a light grey hoodie, dark grey pants, and a white Cloud flak jacket that covered his whole torso. The redhead wore a grey dress with ripped-off sleeves, a longer skirt, and a flak jacket covering all of her torso except her upper right chest and shoulder. She had a pretty face and lovely earrings, but didn’t have many curves.
I usually wouldn’t have bothered bringing that last part up, but the man looked at Hinata and me, back to his red-headed teammate and then to their captain before blatantly telling her, “See, compared to them and Captain Samui, you are flat.”
She responded with a punch and several insults, though she was blushing. This interaction didn’t seem to faze or surprise the busty blonde, who I now knew was named Samui.
Shino bade me forward and introduced me to the team.
“Captain Samui, this is Sakura Uzumaki, my second in command and the Leaf’s representative for diplomacy. She is the student of our Fifth Hokage, Lady Tsunade.”
Of course, he left out my other duties as head of espionage. I extended my hand and shook the blonde’s.
“Cool, I’m Samui. The other two are Karui and Omoi.” She appeared to be a woman of few words.
I couldn’t tell if she was keeping her and her teammates’ last names secret, or if they simply didn’t have any. Most people didn’t have a last name. Only people from famous families dating back to the Warring States period had one, though in my case, the Haruno name came from a merchant family, not a ninja clan.
“Pleased to meet you. You’ve met Shino, our team captain, and this is my wife, Hinata Uzumaki; my husband, Naruto Uzumaki; Kiba Inuzuka and his ninja hound, Akamaru. We also have someone we would like your Lord Raikage to meet, this young man named Kouta.”
I introduced each member of our team. I didn’t see any point in lying about our family names, and I figured I had to explain our marriage: three of us shared the same last name, yet we didn’t look related.
“Cool,” she said with an aloof expression. Either she wasn’t fazed by us bringing a rogue Frost ninja, or she figured it was above her pay grade.
“It’s late, so let’s stay at the customs office barracks before setting off in the morning,” Samui suggested.
She didn’t seem mad, but the other two in her team looked slightly annoyed that we were so late. They must have been waiting here for us for a few days.
“Sure. It will be nice to sleep in a real bed, even if it’s in a barracks.”
The boys slept at the inn back in the Frost Village, but Hinata and I hadn’t slept in a real bed since we left the Leaf. And Kouta had only roughed it outdoors with us for two days.
Samui and her team escorted us to the customs office mess hall for some food. Naruto was happy to have some ramen, though it was instant ramen from a freeze-dried pack; he didn’t seem to care, having been on rations for the past week and a half.
Hinata and I smiled at him as he went back for seconds. That caused the redhead, Karui, to whisper to us. “So, are you two like, really both married to him?”
She asked with a blush. My guess was that she was imagining what that implied.
“And… Is he the one making you wear those… clothes?”
“We are also married to each other,” Hinata smiled as she squeezed my hand under the table.
“And he doesn’t decide what we wear. We do.” I finished.
The Cloud ninja looked shocked, but more curious than disgusted, which I took as a good sign.
“Are… all Leaf women like you?” She asked with a blush and an embarrassed expression.
“What do you mean?” Asked Hinata with a grin.
“Confident, er, progressive, bold and, um, well endowed… Your Hokage’s… figure… It is well known. I assumed it was an outlier, but seeing you two makes me think I’m the one who’s… abnormal.” She glanced down at her own chest.
I didn’t want her to be self-conscious. Lady Tsunade’s and my chest was medically enhanced, and only Hinata was truly well endowed. However, I couldn’t say that. But it didn’t surprise me that Lady Tsunade’s chest size was well discussed. I’m sure that as the leader of a rival village, she was the subject of several dirty jokes and nicknames by rowdy Cloud ninja.
“No… Not all women of the Leaf are like us. In fact, we get a lot of dirty looks, especially from the older generations. And our tits…” I looked down at Hinata’s and my lingerie-clad forms. “They are special. So we show them off as much as we can. Most female ninjas do.”
Many attractive female ninjas dressed a little sexy, even if it wasn’t to the extent of Hinata and me. It was a form of sexual intimidation, like our Anko from the Leaf or the Mizukage of the Mist.
Our conversation was interrupted as Naruto came back with more ramen. This caused Karui to stop asking us such embarrassing questions, at least for her.
…
After we all got something to eat, we were escorted to the barracks. It was gender-segregated, so Omoi led the boys off, and Samui led Hinata, Karui, and me to the other building. It looked like no female ninjas were permanently stationed at the customs office, as we had the barracks to ourselves. Maybe it was time for some… bonding with our potential allies.
