Chapter 45: Honey Pot.

We found the rest of the team at a decent inn. It wasn’t the best, but it would do for one night. It was cold, at least for the male members of the team, as Hinata and I could keep warm using chakra even while we slept. Being knocked unconscious or passing out is not the same as sleeping. Shadow clones and other ninjutsu would be too chakra-intensive to perform passively, but regulating our body temperature during sleep was doable.

Other places were built on the few hot springs within the village and thus had heated stone floors, but those were too expensive. The Land of Steam had many more hot springs, making it affordable for tourists, whereas the Land of Frost had only a few. Consequently, military, royal, and luxurious hotels were built exclusively on these hot springs.

Hinata was sitting on Naruto’s lap at a table near the back of the inn, with Kiba sitting opposite and Akamaru curled up under the table. It was a booth with a padded bench on either side of the table. Naruto raised a mug of what smelled like warm lemonade at us, and we came over. I had seen Naruto drink a little at his homecoming party, so I assumed he was only drinking lemonade because we were on a mission.

Hinata was also only drinking non-alcoholic beverages, in her case, green tea, while Kiba was drinking sake. Akamaru doesn’t drink… I think. Ninja hounds are weird. Some talk, and it always looked to me that Akamaru was intelligent, but only Kiba and his clan could understand him.

“That was quick.” Laughed Kiba, still under the assumption that Shino and I were off fucking, but Naruto didn’t seem sure that was what we were up to anymore.

“She doesn’t have that glint in her eye she gets after sex.”

That’s all he said, probably feeling like it wasn’t safe to ask us what we talked about.

Hinata surprised me with her following comment. “She only has that look after sleeping with you, Naruto. Anyway, let’s leave it. I’m sure they have to keep quiet about what they discussed for a reason.”

I gave her a thankful look and scooched up beside her and Naruto as Shino nudged Kiba along the bench to sit in front of me across the table.

Since we didn’t want to risk discussing the mission where potentially hostile ninja could overhear, we stuck to small talk and personal topics.

“Now that we have a chance to just talk, I’ve been meaning to ask,” said Kiba, a little red-faced from the sake but not slurring his words yet. “Why did you three get married so quickly? I mean, I believe you genuinely love each other, but wasn’t it a little fast?”

Since it was because of Hinata’s family and their potential reaction to her relationship with me, Naruto left it to us.

Hinata started. “My family… wouldn’t approve of my relationship with another woman… and you know how… forceful they can be.”

It appeared that she didn’t want to broadcast her Hyuuga status outside the Shimokage’s secure office.

“Ahh…” That’s all he replied with. Kiba may seem brutish, but he wasn’t an idiot. He was aware of the Hyuuga curse mark and branch families.

“We had to marry and form our own clan before certain people amended the loopholes that allowed chunin to form a clan with only the Hokage’s permission, polygamy and same-sex couples to marry,” I added.

Kiba paused and thought before he asked his next question. “I understand Hinata’s family not being cool with it, but what about your folks?”

He asked Naruto and me, then looked startled as he remembered that Naruto didn’t have any family.

“All my family was there.” He said, squeezing Hinata and me. He had admitted to Hinata and me that he saw Lord Jiraiya and Lady Tsunade as parental figures, and I think he saw Iruka-sensei as an older brother.

“I don’t come from a ninja family, so I have always had more freedom, though my parents, especially my Mom, don’t approve of my… antics. I hope they will be happy for me. We’ve been estranged for a while now, and I haven’t actually told them I’m married yet. It did all happen so fast, and now we are on a long mission…” Now I did feel bad about not telling them.

Maybe it was because I was feeling down, or maybe Shino just wanted to get it off his chest, but he spoke up and took everyone’s attention off me.

“I actually formed my own clan at the same time. However, mine is purely for political and social reasons.”

Kiba and Naruto were surprised, but of course Hinata and I already knew.

“What do you mean?” Asked Naruto.

Shino sighed and looked to Kiba before explaining. “I’m gay, and so are a fair number of people in the Leaf—both ninja and civilian. But because of how ‘old-fashioned’ all the old clans are, hardly anyone comes out due to fear of discrimination. So, using the same loopholes as the three of them, I married another man and left in clauses that allow anyone to marry in; he’s back in the Leaf Village now, busy adding new ‘husbands’ and ‘wives’, but, as I said, it’s purely political and only really on paper. But now Lady Fifth can punish anyone who discriminates against us using the clauses that no one can discriminate against Leaf citizens for their clan’s practices and beliefs.”

Hinata, Shino and I waited in silence for Naruto and Kiba’s reaction. I was sure Naruto would have no problem with it, but I wasn’t as confident about Kiba.

Kiba was surprised and angry, but not in the way I would have expected.

“The fuck, dude! Why didn’t you tell me? We’ve been friends and teammates for years! Hell, I even opened up to you about how I felt about Hinata, and I never told anyone else about that. Did you really think I would think less of you because you like cock? I don’t disrespect people for who they are. I even respect Sakura!”

He said as he pointed his thumb back at me and rolled his eyes.

“Wow, you are so magnanimous…” I said sarcastically.

“You know what I mean, bitch. Seriously, if you had told me earlier, I would have had your back if anyone tried to push you around or anything. I’m a dick, but I’m not a cunt.”

I was busy trying to decide if that last statement was misogynistic or not when Naruto spoke up.

“I don’t have a problem with it either. I’m not attracted to guys, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. And I hate bullies and people who look down on others. As a kid, I didn’t know the village was so homo-homofoo—” Naruto struggled to remember the word homophobic. “Homo—, ah! Against gay people. But when I’m Hokage, I’ll be making some changes and making things better.”

He ended with a smile. I didn’t have the heart to tell him it wasn’t that easy, even for a Hokage, but I rubbed his arm and smiled to show I supported him.

Shino seemed surprised by the support from Naruto and Kiba, but smiled as though a great weight had been lifted from his chest.

“Yeah, my bad for not telling you sooner, Kiba, but you’ve got to admit, with how much you talk about alphas and betas and bitches you didn’t seem like the kind to be supportive of gay relationships.”

Kiba waved his hand. “That’s mostly just trash talk, though I do think real men should take care of their bitc—, er, I mean partners. I wouldn’t be cool letting someone else get with one of my girls, but that’s just me, I’m more than happy to take advantage of more ‘progressive’ views.”

He winked at Hinata and me as he ended, my guess to try to bring some levity.

We discussed casual topics as we drank, such as village gossip, mainly about who was hooking up with whom back home, as I was familiar with most of the details. I’m not above gossiping about other people’s sex lives, though I never judge.

Everyone but Kiba stayed on the non-alcoholic stuff at first, but eventually we all had a little sake. I discreetly gave everyone a pill from my medical kit under the table to quickly sober them up if something happened, and they all pocketed it. It wasn’t a healthy thing to abuse, as it was a shock to the system, but it was safe for emergency use.

Eventually, I thought it was time to move into the next stage of the plan to recruit Kouta.

I secretly slid a note to Shino under the table. It read:

“Hinata, I and someone else will meet you in the early morning at the following coordinates. Don’t mention anything, just burn this note and meet us there with the rest of the team.”

He took the note but didn’t read it yet.

“Naruto, baby, Hinata and I have to go take care of something. Why don’t you head up to our room and get some rest?”

I asked sweetly, hoping he wouldn’t ask questions. He looked a little sad at spending the night alone, but didn’t protest.

“Okay, just be careful.”

Hinata slid off Naruto’s lap, and he and Shino helped Kiba to his feet. Naruto gave Hinata and me a deep kiss and a hug, then the three of them, along with Akamaru, headed upstairs.

I turned to Hinata, who wasn’t actually as drunk as she was letting on.

“Baby, can you find that ‘cute boy’ we saw earlier today?”

Understanding who I was talking about, she activated her Byakugan and began searching for Kouta. It didn’t take long to find him.

“He’s just down the road at a nearby bar, looks like he is off duty. He’s alone.”

We paid for our drinks and headed down the road to the bar, where Kouta was drinking. It was a dive bar with a pool table and darts. It was even colder than the inn we were staying at, but again, it wouldn’t affect Hinata and me.

Hinata subtly gestured to where Kouta was, drinking alone on a stool at the bar counter. We wordlessly flanked him, and each sat our big, sexy asses on a stool on either side of him.

We got a lot of looks. Our floor-length fur coats—mine black, hers white—were swept open as we sat, leaving our backsides exposed, covered only by the thin strings of our lace thongs.

“Lonely?” I asked seductively as I slid up to him.

“S-Sakura!” He said excitedly. He was a little tipsy but not drunk. “W-what are you doing here?”

“Looking for you, Kouta… You’ve seen her, but let me properly introduce my wife, Hinata.”

I glanced across to Hinata sitting on his other side; it seemed Kouta didn’t even notice her.

“W-wife… Wait, I thought you were with that blonde guy…” Well, the wife thing didn’t throw him off, so I could only assume the Frost Village had a better outlook on same-sex marriage than the Leaf.

“That’s our husband… we have a very… special relationship. Isn’t that right, Hinata?” I asked.

Hinata said she was okay being with others as long as either Naruto or I was with her, but this would be the first time Naruto wasn’t here for it. But she seemed fine, maybe it was because this was for a mission or because I was here, after all, I was her first sexual partner.

“Very special…” She cooed as she placed a hand on his arm.

Kouta couldn’t tell how nervous she was, but I could. She didn’t stutter or avoid eye contact with him, but I could hear a slight shakiness in her voice, and her face was flushed red. I only needed her to find Kouta and could handle the rest on my own, but she seemed willing to keep going, though I would have to lead the way.

“You see, Kouta, my wife and I… have a proposition for you… one we feel you will like… and before you ask, we already got permission from Lord Shimokage. So don’t worry about… ‘fraternisation’ with foreign ninja.”

I purred. He blushed. It was clear he was attracted to us, and I could tell he didn’t get much attention from women, if any. He wasn’t bad looking, but clearly, he wasn’t the sharpest kunai in the belt.

“W-well… if Lord Shimokage said it was o-okay…”

“Exactly… now, my wife and I would be very grateful if you would escort us out of the Frost Village tonight…” I whispered into his ear, and Hinata continued whispering into his other ear.

“Very grateful indeed… We could show a small portion of our gratitude once we are alone and under the stars…”

Lord Shimokage said he would allow Kouta to leave with us, but wouldn’t order him. He didn’t say we couldn’t manipulate him until he realised there was no turning back. This deal wouldn’t be on the books, and only Lord Shimokage would know, so to everyone else, Kouta would be a rogue ninja who ran off with some Hidden Leaf sluts.

All the blame would fall on him for being seduced away, and the Frost wouldn’t complain to the Leaf, as it would be an embarrassment. It would most likely just get swept under the rug. Sure, the higher-ups would be pissed a kekkei genkai user was lost, but they weren’t supposed to even have him and were already keeping his existence from the Leaf.

I’m sure even Kouta, if he were sober and thinking with the head on his shoulders rather than the one between his legs, would have realised the trap. But right now he wasn’t.

“Right now… But I’m on guard duty tomorrow…”

He was starting to think things through, but Hinata and I placed our hands on his thighs.

“Please…” We both whined—time to see just how naive Kouta really was. I didn’t feel bad, as if he fell for this, then he had no business being a ninja anyway, and being a breeding stud for the Cloud would probably keep him alive longer than staying in this village.
