“Sir, are you there?”
“Hmm?” Suddenly when he was sleeping, he heard a loud knocking noise and felt like someone was calling him.
“Sir?” The knocking got even louder while the voice became even more impatient which kind of annoyed Oga.
“What happened?” He grumbled as he tried to recollect what exactly happened while looking around.
“Your time is almost gonna be up, I just have to remind you of that.”
“Ahh okay, then I will pay extra later, now leave us alone.” He said as his voice was making him more annoyed and making his head hurt even more.
“Okay then.”
After that, he could hear footsteps going and then focused on the girl hugging him tightly next to him who didn’t even react to such loud noises.
“Haaaa!” After sleeping for a while, he was kind of relieved that his mind was in a normal state.
“That feeling was the worst.” Remember that moment almost disgusted him as he didn’t want to act weak like that but he still did.
‘Well let’s just forget about it.’ He thought while taking out his phone from his pocket as he wanted to know how long they had been asleep for.
He still remembered that he booked the hotel room till the afternoon so it might already be past 12.
“Damn, that was long.” Checking the time, he realised that it was way past that and they were almost sleeping for around 6 hours.
He also saw many missed calls from various people but he decided to call them later, “I don’t want to deal with these girls right now.”
Looking towards his side, he could see Chifuyu still sleeping.
“It’s not like it’s getting any better.” He couldn’t help but laugh as even though he was trying so hard, he just couldn’t understand her reaction at all and it kept getting worse and worse.
“Hmm.” Suddenly he heard a small whimper from his side, and looking towards it, he could see Chifuyu lightly rubbing her eyes as she looked around the surroundings.
“Yo afternoon.” He lightly greeted her with a smile while she looked at him with a confused face, probably surprised by the position they were in.
Right now, she was hugging him tightly both with her hands and legs while breasts were pressed against his chest, and their faces were just inches away from each other.
“Eh!” With a small noise, she separated from him and looked around the area once more while sitting down on the bed.
“Oh we are still in the hotel room, and I couldn’t just let you sleep on the floor so I put you on the bed.” After being separated from her, he was a little sad as her body warmth felt good but he didn’t dwell much on it.
Instead, he sat down on the bed to match her eye levels, and then he just looked at her and waited for her to ask or say something
But she didn’t say anything but just looked at him with confused eyes as both realised they didn’t have anything to talk about.
“Hmm! Anyway, let’s go out to eat something as it’s almost lunchtime.” He tried to break the silence by bringing up this as that silence was so awkward and he was kind of feeling hungry too.
“Eh? Can’t I go back home?” She asked with a confused expression as she didn’t understand why he wanted to have lunch together with her.
“Did you forget? We are supposed to be a couple for a day, so we got to do a couple stuff together.” He tried to use this excuse as he remembered the original body saying this while blackmailing her.
‘And I can’t leave her alone or she might do something very bad.’ Even though she looked normal right now, he still remembers those eyes where there was no life left and he didn’t want it to be a permanent one.
“Sure.” She lightly nodded without any reluctance which surprised him a bit as he expected her to say no at first.
“Also you are not going to cook?” She didn’t mention his surprised expression, instead asked something she was curious about.
“You like the food I made that much.” He asked with a curious expression as he didn’t expect her to say that.
“N-no I didn’t mean like that, I-i was just curious.” She stuttered a little while her face was a little red from embarrassment, which made him smile as she was finally showing some happy emotion after a long time.
He couldn’t help but pat her head after seeing her reaction but just stopped right before touching her head and pulled his hands away after remembering the kind of relationship they were in.
“Well I could have cooked something but sadly time is up so we have to leave the room.” He explained to her the reason why he couldn’t cook even if he wanted to, and he was too tired to cook anything right now but he didn’t mention that.
“Ahh, I understand.” She nodded lightly and then got out of the bed, and started to fix her clothes and her hair while looking at the table mirror next to the bed.
“You do that, while I will wait at the reception as I have to pay the bills too.” He also stood up brushing his hair lightly with his hands, and started to walk towards her exit.
Suddenly he felt something tucking his shirt and looking behind, he could see Chifuyu looking at him with a serious expression.
“Let me pay half of it.” She said as she started to look around for her wallet when he suddenly stopped her by holding her hands.
“Ahh don’t worry about it, remember you are my girlfriend right now so it’s my responsibility to take care of you.” He said with a smile while looking towards her but she looked away from his gaze and looked at the ground instead.
“So yeah just get ready instead and I will take care of that stuff.” He said that while he slowly released her hand she just nodded lightly while still not looking at him.
‘Plus I am too fucking rich.’ Remembering the money he had in his bank account still gave him chills as he could never earn that amount in his last life even if he gave it his all.
