Chapter 130: Victor

| Aviators – Victorious (Inspired by Elden Ring | Symphonic Alternative) Wish This Came Out Earlier Since It Fits Her So Well XD

Sweat unconsciously rolled down the sword saint’s brow as she felt the weight of those oppressively piercing violent eyes; feeling as if her sister was literally looking through her. Silently judging her worth like she was a slab of meat. Not speaking up or moving as she fully committed to the task – Victory simply watched her “triplet” as if she were suddenly frozen in time.

She continued staring at Vibrant as the angel recovered her power.

Then looked a little more.

Still watching.

Watching a little longer.

Eyes still focused.

“Boring… You’re boring me…” <Victory>

A frown graced the demon monarch’s lips as her plump cheeks became puffed up, giving her the appearance of a spoiled princess, as she visibly began to grow angry at how slow her recovery was.

It was understandable that the origin of sin would grow impatient – she had been waiting for about as long as they had been alive for this very moment. The moment where she’d get to show the entire world that strength gained through her efforts was superior to her other two thirds. That they were right.

Suffering brought strength so she decided to suffer throughout the aeons, willingly letting herself get refined in a prison of her own design, all so she could finally become greater than all before. To become a figure that everyone needed to show respect. Someone that even the Archons & topplers would never dare to provoke or continue to consider her a mere tool.

Yet now that she is here… Her supposed challenger had fallen so far that a mere day of combat had left them kneeling on the ground like she had surrendered – needing to be given time to “recover” despite having never offered the same to anyone else. It was more surprising if that crown of horns hadn’t exploded into crimson flames earlier.

“You always go on and on with these long winded sentences to convey simple concepts to feel smarter than everyone but I have to ask… Where has your pride gone?” <Victory>

Vibrant could only grit her teeth as she indeed couldn’t argue that this had indeed abandoned pride to even let Vivi give her time to recover. Ever since they first awoke, calling an avatar to challenge the primordial god of infinite potential itself, she never considered Vivi to be a challenger. Always seeking to sharpen her absolute spirit to cut down the absolute body of Violent.

But now it was not Violent she was kneeling in front of in defeat.

“Those moves you used earlier… You have developed a curse to steal the powers of others through their blood haven’t you?” <Vibrant>

An eerily toothy grin formed on that demonic monarch’s face as her two loyal servants continued to wait on her beck ‘n’ call and the third sat on her head like an obedient pet. It felt like she was mocking her with that look alone but there wasn’t even anything she could do to wipe it off her face. She knew that she could have been dead if Vivi focused on her rather than those cursed bells.

“Steal? I find it strange that you conveniently forget the phrase “to the victor goes the spoils” especially when you adorn yourself with the weapons of those you have beaten over your reign as the strongest swordswoman in history. Though… I suppose the rules have always been different for the strong, have they not?” <Victory>

For a moment Vibrant was surprised at the… Eloquence that such a response presented. Gritting her teeth as she refused to admit that such a monster, gaining power through bloodthirst, could be anyway close to her divine duels.

“Such power will never truly answer you nor will it belong, like the reflection of the moon  in the lake, you’ll always be a copy.” <Vibrant>

Victory stopped smiling as a chilling wind blew through the bloody fighting dome; the demoness slowly tilted her head as she silently stared at the defeated angelic figure that knelt a few metres away from her.

“Wrong.” <Victory>

“… What?” <Vibrant>

“You’re wrong, dummy.” <Victory>

To say the saint was confused was an understatement, how can someone speak with such eloquence can suddenly switch on a dime, the statements being nothing short of a childish argument closure. Even still the angel didn’t feel like replying. Subtly feeling the coldness effecting her causing her to gaze down to see a faintly… Violet frost forming on her feets.

<W-what? This is like… The demonic tribulations?! How can she get control of something like that when it was created by pure accident due to our unified self using destruction; no way a weakling like her can do something I failed to do!>

Tribulations are not a simple thing.

They are actually the only thing that are even able to damage a fully revved up Violent while also being something Mother cannot adapt to. Proving just how vital they are in the conflicts against gods. There is a reason that Sohn-Tochter was such an untouchable figure despite Mother obviously having gripes at her for essentially ruling the same territory the supposed “all powerful god” did.

It was rumoured that every realm possessed a form of tribulation yet the angelic oni had no clue if that was true due to no one being able to really explore the depths of the dreamscape. Even if people didn’t like to admit it… Elizabeth was an archon in her own right. Certainly not a weak one who ruled over a little realm thus got a seat at the table due to a backdoor technicality.

Currently the only three “known” tribulations with the first (of course) the heavenly tribulation that represented the peak of the holy element & used by their eldest sister. Second was the chronos tribulation of the heavenly realm which represented the peak of the spatial element – granting control over time with its punishments being somewhere between the worst or softest. Last there was one created through the laboured breaths of a full strength Violet when she used her powers to claw her way out of hell.

The Naraka tribulation.

It carries with it the power of hot & cold and is the peak of… The wind attribute. At first glance it doesn’t seem very amazing however all things in creation react to heat as it is the vibration of particles. One may believe that the hot aspect is the most dangerous but that would be wrong since what is more tortuous than being fully conscious yet unable to move due to having your body completely frozen?

Plus, when the two are combined, results can get quite… Explosive.

Of course Vibrant sought to cultivate such power into her own, especially after losing her hands, but that only led to her losing more hope in reclaiming a sliver of her past strength.

“Bored…” <Victory>

FInally sick of just waiting around and no longer being amused by the nonsense coming from her opponent to be’s gob; Victory finally turned her attention away from the woman. A finger lightly tapped her chin as she thought about what to do and she finally decided to give up waiting as she was simply just too excited. Pointing a finger to leviathan as she signalled for him to come over to her with the two vials.

After doing that she clenched her hand into a fist, a potent wind blew through the air from that simple action alone, as she soon reeled her fist backwards. The next moment space shattered as she literally punched through the realm itself. Soon pulling something out and into her awaiting arms.

Holding it in a princess carry with uncharacteristic tenderness.

Though rather than “it”, the object was better known by another name, in her hands now lay the still corpse of the little black cat. Cradling Cheshire’s body in her arms as she moved a hand to brush any kind of blemish from her face so that the cat finally could shine in the light. Not waiting much longer as she moved her face to bite into the already cold arteries of the cat.

Still she didn’t complain as the black fluid leaked into her mouth nor did she shudder in pleasure; almost seeming sombre with no excitement over possible powers she could gain.

When she did finally pull her mouth away she ensured she didn’t miss a single drop as she licked her lip before she reeled her head back to begin to laugh. Her laughter was so maniac that the cultivating Vibrant couldn’t help raise her guard in case the crazy bitch began to attack. Instead of doing that, though, she lifted the corpse of Cheshire up by her hand.

“I gained nothing; you truly are the victor who will go down in history as not the weakest but the strongest of us all!” <Victory>

“What is this crazy even talking about…” <Vibrant>

Victory wasn’t done yet as she kept merrily laughing as a small black flame appeared in her palm.

“You shall be buried with the highest honours – worry not as I shall personally tell your every child just how great of a warrior you were – with such a tiny flame you burned the world down vivivi~!” <Victory>

Thankfully Leviathan arrived just in time to present the two vials towards his “new” boss; needing to take one knee while moving his arms to put it as low as possible due to his size. The girl didn’t take nearly as much care with these two as she first reached for the gold one. Chokin-Bako took this chance to take the body of the creator of the eldritch faction while vanishing back through to corners of reality.

Taking the cork out to throw the divine blood down her throat as she shivered with her power taking a noticeable hike. A powerful explosion of power made everyone’s blood tremble but thankfully she had enough control over her curses to prevent much more. Looking down at the vial with a malicious grin as she spoke once more.

“Now the snakes slippery potential power has become mine~!” <Victory>

Throwing the empty vial away to take the last “donors” misty blood into her body… Only for a furrow to immediately form on her face. She looked down to tense her hand a few times as it was obvious that her potential demonic energy had increased in quality yet again but…

She seemed to be looking for something else.

“GRRRR NAVY; YOU DARE PLAY GAMES WITH ME AFTER ALL I DID FOR YOU!” <Victory>

That roar caused far more turmoil than any of her prior “attacks” had with even the sturdy divine titan dragon having some blood seep out of his lips. He was clearly just as shocked as everyone else when she threw the now empty vial with such power that a new highway forward within the massive city. Hurrying to ask the obvious questions that came to his mind.

“What happened, did he poison his blood?!” <Leviathan>

“The rat… Repressed his own power so as to not give me judgement or the end!” <Victory>

Such words caused the angel to be even more clueless however it clearly didn’t please Leviathan who ignored his internal injuries in favour of scowling.

“I am sorry – it would appear I should have d-” <Leviathan>

Interrupted suddenly by the arrival of a pillar of light piercing through the demonic-blood based dome that kept them all trapped. Victory turned her gaze to the appearance of an archangel she recognized yet clearly did not recognise her back. A smirk filled with childish mischief quickly formed on her lips before she licked them in anticipation.

“It seems some stress relief has arrived!” <Victory>

“Squeak!” <Necrohamster>
