Edmund contemplated the new options for a bit, and then decided he was intrigued by the House of Curses and Special Events. Naturally, he chose it. He immediately felt himself gain control of an abandoned building nearby.

James and Sara were at home that evening. James returned fairly late from work, but was early enough that he could still come home for some home cooked food.
At that point, his phone rang. It was from his parents.
“Mom?” James answered. He had a bad feeling the moment his parents called.
“-Son. Can you send us $5,000?”
James’ heart froze. “Is this a scam, mom? What happened?”
“Our car broke down and we’re a little short of cash these three months. But we really need a car to get your dad to the hospital for his weekly therapy sessions.”
“Could someone else send you there?” James asked.
“Well, everyone in our hometown is old, and you know how prices are these days.” Mom said. “Everything’s so expensive. Please? We just need to front the downpayment, we’ll pay you back from our pension over the next few months. Please?”
James sighed. “$5,000 is a lot, mom. I’m not sure where I can get a loan these days! Not with our income.”
“Ask your boss?” Mom said. “Employee loans are normal!”
James frowned. “My company’s a multinational, mom! They don’t do employee loans!”
“Please?”
James sighed. “Let me try ask around.”

James and Sara sat. It was late at night, but James couldn’t sleep. They were both in bed, and in their pyjamas. James kept turning, and Sara noticed, of course. “Are you alright, dear?”
“My parents. They want me to lend them $5,000. But I don’t have that kind of money. We already need to pay the landlord-”
Sara thought for a while, and thought about her new boss. “Do you think I should ask Mister Greenhat for a loan?”
James paused. “-we’re already in his debt.”
“I think it might be a good idea.” Sara realized that it might mean she would have to work more, and she immediately felt a complex feeling in her heart. “I’ll probably have to work more frequently to pay it back, but if it helps you and your family, I’d do it. We are a family, right?”
James looked at his wife and smiled. “Would you do that for me?”
“I’ll text him about it. He doesn’t sleep that early. He apparently works till very late.” Sara answered as she took her phone.

“Hi Mister Greenhat. My family needs a bit of money. Is it possible for me to borrow $5,000? I’ll pay it back by working more often.” Sara texted. “I’ll put in two more days a week, so that’s $300 a week. I can pay it back in maybe 4 to 5 months.”
Edmund, on the other side, smiled as he saw the message. He was impressed how quickly it worked. “Sure. But I also need you to work on Saturdays, and do some other types of clothing. But don’t worry, I’ll increase your pay to $200 a session, you’ve done well. So You just need to work an extra 25 sessions, so with three extra sessions per week, you’ll finish it in two months. “
“Wow. Thanks boss.” Sara was in no position to refuse, and so she nodded.
The money was sent over immediately.

“You’ve got the money already?” James looked, incredibly surprised.
“Yeah. I’ll just have to work 3 extra days a week for 2 months. It’s okay.” Sara said with a smile. She wanted to help her husband.
His husband gave her a hug, and they shared a kiss. It was warm, but Sara realized then that her husband’s kiss was weak. Instead, at that moment, she missed Mister Greenhat’s kiss instead. She pinched herself.

“Alright, your new schedule is five days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You have Sundays and Wednesdays off.” The minion said as she walked in on Thursday. “Your new schedule starts next week, okay?”
“Oh.”
“I’m actually not around on Tuesdays and Fridays. So it’ll just be you and the boss.” The minion said.
Sara nodded. “Yeah. I’ll be fine.”
Once again, they were doing more swimsuits, but nothing much happened this time around. Edmund took some photos and decided to let Sara rest for a bit.
It was just a feeling he got, that Sara needed some ‘cooldown’ time. To rest between all the progress he’s been making.
