Chapter 131
Huh? My ear’s itchy…
Is someone talking about me?
“Wh-why did you stop?” Martha’s voice brought me back to the real world.
“Haha. Sorry. I was just a little tired.” I replied and slowly began to move.
“I-I’m not he-heavy, am I…?” Even though she was moaning, she was still asking the sensitive question. I guess no matter what the world, women would always be the same.
“Not at all.” I didn’t bother to explain and held her body in place while my hips did the job.
She was so light and just the right size of tiny that I could pick her up and place her on my dick with no problem at all.
While I wanted to have her face turned to me, I decided to do this once the other way around since I was screwing her in doggystyle before this, and just alternated into this.
“Ugh!”
Finally, for the seventh time during this session, I came. Four times for Cassandra, and three for Martha.
The break we were going to take for four hours stretched into seven. I was really going to do it with just Cassandra only, but Martha woke up, and the threesome was hot enough for me to want to keep on going.
Not to mention, Martha could be quite insatiable when it came to sex, so even when I decided to stop, she wouldn’t. She wanted to make up for the time we hadn’t had fun recently, and she pouted about it too.
Anyway…
“Get ready,” I told a panting Martha who somehow nodded her head in reply.
Cassandra had rested enough since she passed out about an hour ago from relentless sex.
“Are you alright?” I asked her.
“Yes,” Cassandra replied, getting up to put on her armor. It was a good show, watching her dress up. I wanted to keep on going, but I guess I’d had enough for the day.
“Wake up.” I woke up the bum who was sleeping for almost eight hours. He didn’t wake up, and so Cassandra joined, but he still didn’t wake up.
“Is there something wrong with him?” Cassandra worriedly asked.
Oh, yeah, I forgot.
[Dispel]
I sneakily dispelled the sleep spell, which ends on its own in about eight hours, but since it hadn’t been eight hours, some really strong stimulus or the dispel spell would be used to wake him up.
“Wh-what? Is it my time to wake up?” Lucas asked, a little confused.
“No.” I replied but didn’t bother to explain, “Get ready. We’re going in.”
Cassandra brought him up to speed, omitting the sex part, but explained to him that I was magnanimous enough to allow him to sleep since Lucas had been fighting on the frontlines.
I didn’t bother to correct her.
“Let’s go.” After about half an hour, we were ready, so I went ahead and opened the door, a shield spell ready in case something unexpected came from the other side of the door.
Nothing did.
Woosh…
Woosh…
Woosh…
The lights began to turn on in the room. They weren’t mana crystals this time. The light was from the old school blowtorches this time.
That was strange. This whole dungeon had mana luminescent stones all over it, but this place had something like that. Something that doesn’t run on mana.
Wait a minute. Mana.
[Warning]
[Barrier of nihility has been cast on this certain part of the dungeon]
[Entry would strip the user of all supernatural powers]
So that’s what it was, huh…
And that wasn’t even the worst part…
[The system has deemed the stage to be part of the trial of truth]
[Mana and all skills would be restricted]
[Physical stats would be limited to 100]
[INT stat would be disabled]
Charm was unaffected, huh? Well, charm must not be needed for this battle since it was left alone. Charm could be utilized in some situations, but certain situations could also render it useless.
Well, anyway…
“Wait. Something is wrong.” Cassandra said.
“I can’t feel anything,” Martha said, alarmed. She wasn’t the only one. Lucas also said something similar along the lines, but I didn’t bother mentioning it.
“The room has a barrier that blocks mana or aura. We can only rely on our physical nature in this area.” I said.
“That means you’re useless, aren’t you?” Lucas didn’t waste a second to diss me.
“Don’t worry, brother. I’m still stronger than you.” I replied.
That was the truth. Sure, aura users trained their bodies unlike mages, but what truly made their bodies strong and sturdy was aura. With his aura blocked, he was not that strong anymore.
Of course, compared to a mage like me, he would still be a lot stronger. If we were talking about a typical mage, that is.
“Can we focus on this first? What do you think this is?” Cassandra intervened and diverted our attention back to the problem at hand. I also decided to ignore that fucker and focus on this.
Now, usually, in a situation like this, things go two ways. It is a physical dungeon where physical fights ensue, to show how worthy one is when the supernatural power they have is stripped.
And the other one is…
[Philosopher’s lair is reacting to the newcomers]
[Philosopher grants you the choice of a champion among you to take his test]
[Philosopher eyes you, urging you to take the test]
[Philosopher will grant you a worthy reward upon passing]
Great. The other kind of situation is a mental one. From there, it could be either a test of intellect or a mental attack scenario where one has to show how strong their mental strength is.
I wonder which of the two it would be?
“Step back.” I told the rest, “And wait for further instructions.”
“What are you going to do?” Martha worriedly asked.
“Only one of us can advance from here,” I explained briefly.
“Why does it have to be you?” Cassandra asked.
“Because I’m smarter than all of you,” I replied simply.
“…”
No one said anything, and Lucas was the first to step back, going out of the room. Cassandra nodded at me and followed, while Martha left a few encouraging words and also stepped out.
The door closed behind me, and there was silence in the room once again, which was broken after a few seconds by the rise of an altar in the middle of the room, where there was a book on top.
[Philosopher’s legacy]
[It contains the records of the Philosopher’s journey through Atcan]
Now what the hell is Atcan?
[Please read the book and immerse yourself in his journey]
[Upon completing the book, the user will receive the various experiences they received]
[Warning]
[The records contained within the book come from another world]
[They will be directly implemented on the user’s mind instead of the system’s glossary?]
[Do you wish to proceed?]
[YesNo]
‘…’
I was kinda hesitant at this point. I mean, getting knowledge of another world wasn’t something I was wary of. The problem was with the implementation of knowledge in one’s mind.
Now there was a reason why I went through the system’s glossary. One, it was very fast, and second, because it wouldn’t affect one’s mind.
There was a case study. A man who spends a lot of time in a certain environment could either become prone to that environment or become a part of it.
Like how a cop specialized in catching pedophiles and sex criminals ended up committing the same atrocities after thirty years in the force. His mind was severely affected by that environment.
The same could stand in this case. I didn’t know what kind of life this guy had lived, and if he had lived a twisted kind, his experiences would directly impact my mind.
And with mana not present to protect me from that, I could attract some tendencies from his experiences. In other words, his tastes could become mine. If he were a killer by some chance, murderous tendencies could also be born in me.
[Would you like to proceed?]
[YesNo]
Haa…
I really didn’t have a good feeling about this. But there was no other solution in sight. All I could do was resist to the best of my might, and make sure my mind doesn’t get affected by this guy’s life.
“Yes.”
[Acknowledged]
[Philosopher’s journey would now assimilate with the user’s mind directly]
[Good luck]
‘Kugh…’
The first thing that assaulted me was a headache. It was common in this kind of scenario, and even happened when the system’s glossary would transfer information to me, so it wasn’t very alarming to me.
Since it was still mild, it meant the knowledge being transferred to me was still basic.
And it started from…
[This is an accursed world]
[This is an accursed world]
[This is an accursed world]
Just that…?
What the hell was with the entries in the book? Why would one think lik—?
[I come from another world]
Yep, now I get why.
~~
Okay, so I kind of wanted to add a funny element, so I added this instead of a battle scene. It is still related to the plot so don’t skip it straight to sex, got it?
