Chapter 124
The corridor was dark. Crystals were shining to light it up to some extent, but it still wasn’t battle-friendly.
Lucas had now taken the forefront, and Cassandra was behind us. Shame I couldn’t see her ass in front of me anymore, but with how heavily she was dressed, there wasn’t much to ogle anyway.
Martha was next to me, my hands on her cute but bubbly butt, and I gave her ass a few slight squeezes if the situation wasn’t too serious.
“Another one,” Lucas whispered after coming to a halt.
We looked at the target a little away. It was just standing there in the giant corridor. But this one was a little different.
“This one seems different,” Cassandra commented.
“A crystal golem,” I said.
“Does it have special properties?” Lucas asked.
“Yes. Not only is it sturdy, but it also reflects most of the elemental spells.” I replied.
Fire or lightning was out of the question. Light was never a question in the first place, so the only ones left were the earth and air. Air wasn’t going to do much to it, so the only viable option left was earth.
“The plan doesn’t change. Only the spell does. Do as you always have.” I instructed, and both of them nodded, charging at the golem, who finally took notice of us.
Clang!
A loud clang fell in our ears as Lucas stumbled back after hacking away at the strong crystal of the golem. He was firsthand experiencing how sturdy it was. The same was the case for Cassandra, who realized the spike in difficulty.
Of course, it hadn’t gotten any more difficult for me.
[Stone Barrage]
I cast the lower-level spell of [Quartz Barrage] and let it strike the crystal golem. The crystal on the golem cracked, but it didn’t do enough damage to expose the mana core.
[Sharpen]
I applied the simple sharpen effect to the stones that were polished and raised from the ground to give them extra penetration power.
This attack worked, and this time, Martha didn’t have to come to our aid. She wasn’t needed in this scenario, where the penetration power was enough to damage the core.
I could have done the same with the golems before, but these guys needed experience, and stones vs stones weren’t a good mix. Even now, compared to our first fight, the battles were getting shorter and shorter.
Sure, this golem had reset that progress, but if it were a simple stone golem, the battle would have ended some time ago.
It took us about ten minutes to deal with the crystal golem. The progress in the growth of the group was clearly evident.
Lucas’s aura wasn’t spreading out from his sword any longer but was more concentrated around his sword. Cassandra wasn’t making any mistakes either; her attacks weren’t as heavy as before, but sharp and only limited to the point of attack.
Martha had the least progress here, but her aim was getting better, and her coordination with the rest of the group had improved to the point that she didn’t need instructions but could make her own decisions if needed.
“Is this its mana core?” Cassandra asked as she grabbed the yellow crystal with a small hole in it from the crystal pile of the golem remains. I nodded and replied, “Usually a crystal golem’s whole body is useful, but we cannot carry it at the moment, so we will do with just that.”
“Whole body?” She asked.
“Yes. Various ornaments can be made from the crystals. It is too fragile for constructing heavy objects, but making that much is alright.” I replied.
“Should I take a small crystal then? Mother’s day of birth is coming, and I could have an artisan make something out of this. It is beautiful to gaze upon.” Cassandra thought to herself a little out loud.
“Then it would be better if you made one out of the core. The mana would allow for some sort of enchantment.” I said, gaining her attention.
“Enchantment?” She asked.
“Yes. Such as a charm enchantment.” I gave an example.
“Charm enchantment?” She asked confusedly.
“Yes. For example, soft skin, glowing skin, or something along those lines.” I replied as I casually approached her and grabbed her soft ass behind the armor plate.
She dismissed my move as if it was nothing and focused on our conversation, “I have never heard of something like that. I have heard of the high priests making defensive items out of mana crystals, but never this.”
“If you want,” I said, snaking my hand in her crotch and rubbing her pussy through her leather pants, which wasn’t very comfortable for her, “I can make one for you. The enchantment I have mastered can emit fragrance for several weeks.”
“Fragrance? Is that possible?” She was surprised by my bold statement.
“It is. Or I can enchant it with a spell that can keep one clean without having to take a bath. But it wouldn’t emit any fragrance, but just clean the wearer of the crystal.” I replied.
“Mmm~” She moaned slightly, but mostly in contemplation, and replied, “Then I will count on you for that. I’m sure Mother would be happy with such a gift.”
She handed me the golem core and went to Lucas, freeing herself from my hold. I didn’t feel disappointed, though; it wasn’t much fun through her clothes anyway.
Luckily, my time soon came…
“Any idea what this is?” Cassandra asked after we fought for about an hour and arrived at a door.
“No idea,” I replied.
I did have an idea as to what it was. But I wasn’t going to continue before having some fun. This dungeon was beyond my calculation, but I did come out here to have some fun, not to be trapped here.
If I wanted to enjoy battles and build friendships, I would have stayed back in the town and helped Zara battle against Redford like a valiant warrior.
Looking at the giant gate before us, Cassandra sighed and examined our party. While the condition of our armor was good enough to move on, we were still pretty tired after fighting nine battles, and although those battles lasted longer than an hour of total time, we had been traveling for a total of four, so there were bound to be signs of exhaustion.
“If you think it’s alright, should we take a brief break?” Cassandra asked, since she wasn’t supposed to call the shots.
“Of course, I was going to suggest the same thing. Martha and I stay in the back, but you two fight the most, so you should rest.” I replied, making sure to get a very key point across.
“Hmph. At least you’re not shameless.” Lucas replied and sat down on the ground.
Cassandra didn’t agree with him as she replied, “Mages and warriors fight differently after all. You should restore your mana too.”
Oh, my mana was already full.
“I will do so. And on that note, how about you two sleep for a while?” I suggested, more like planted the idea, to make it look like their own and not something I wanted.
“I think one physical fighter should be awake, so why don’t you sleep first, Lucas? I shall sleep in the second hour, and then we move.” Cassandra suggested something I was hoping she would say.
Lucas didn’t deny her offer and quickly fell asleep. As soon as he was out, I addressed Cassandra, “Young Lady, how about I help you recover your mana?”
Well, aura in her case, but since the foundation was the same, no need to specify it.
“How so?” She asked.
“By swallowing my penis.” I simply stated.
“Oh, that.” Cassandra said, and without asking another question or arguing back, she simply began to take off her clothes, “Alright.”
“No, no, young lady.” I quickly stopped her. As much as I wanted to fuck her, there had to be a correct course before the final dish was served.
“You may not know since you have never done this before, but swallowing my semen can help you recover your mana,” I explained.
“Really?” Cassandra asked and then looked at Martha, who was casually listening to our conversation without any interruptions.
Cassandra looked back at me and asked a question with her eyes, to which I only smiled and replied, “Do not worry. My family already knows.”
“Even Lucas?” She asked.
“No. I didn’t tell him. You may have noticed it before, but Lucas and I don’t exactly have a harmonious relationship.” I explained, keeping my tone awkward.
“Hmm. Some siblings are like that. My mother also never gets along with my uncle.” Cassandra mumbled as if she understood perfectly, and then said out loud, “Alright. I shall also keep your secret from Lucas.”
“Thank you, Young Lady,” I replied. Since we weren’t in battle, she didn’t correct me for addressing her. I didn’t bring it up too because there was something else to be done.
“So…” I said, standing up and taking off my pants, the state of completion already activated and my penis standing at full attention, I walked over to her and said, “Now open your mouth like your mother does.”
