I open my eyes and I feel energy flowing through my body.
“You’re awake!”
I see girl glowing as I look towards her. I look up and I see ninja with her eyes closed. I am laying on top of her lap. I currently cannot see Sylvia. She is probably outside of my vision.
“What are you doing?”
“I am trying to heal you but it’s not working well.”
“Magic does not work with me.”
“Oh. So, that’s why but I worked really hard so you should be a bit better.”
I try to sit-up but my stomach area still hurts. She continues trying to heal me.
“Sorry. From what I feel, I did at least stop it from bleeding but you still have some broken bones there. I did heal your face so you look as beautiful as ever.”
“You think I am beautiful?”
“Huh!? O-oh. Yes, I have always thought you were beautiful.”
“Quite a compliment.”
“Of course.”
“Are you satisfied?”
“What do you mean?”
“This is what you wanted to see, right.”
“I don’t really know what to feel.”
“That is normal. No matter, you will have all the time in the world to think about it.”
“Okay!”
“What do you plan to do now?”
“Huh? You said that I belong to you so…”
“I see. You have outlived your usefulness.”
“What do you mean?”
“You heard what I said. I no longer have need for you.”
“But I have nowhere to go.”
Girl looks confused as she has not stopped trying to heal me. I see her eyes slowly closing.
“Sorry. I think I overdid it.”
“No matter. Sleep well and we will continue this conversation in the future.”
“Okay, mistress.”
Girl slumps as ninja catches her. She lays her down beside me, both of us are on her thighs.
“Not killing me?”
“I don’t feel like it anymore.”
“Whatever you say. Where is she by the way?”
“Over there. Now, I ‘m sure she really is sleeping.”
“Anything else happen?”
“Nah. When he fell, the battle was over.”
“Great. So, you sure you do not want to kill me?”
“Do you want me to?”
“Maybe?”
“Too bad. I ain’t doing it. So, what now?”
“Now, we go home.”
“Where is home?”
“Do you plan on going with me?”
“As if.”
“Good. Take her with you and get out of here.”
“What? You’re just going to abandon her like that?”
“Yes. I already told her that I have no use for her.”
“Well, why does that not surprise me.
Ninja puts my head on the ground as she carries girl.
“You might think I’m slow but are you trying to protect her?”
“No. I told you, I have no use for her anymore.”
“Suit yourself. So, who are you really?”
“I will not answer that question.”
“Sheesh. You almost died and I did save you. You think you could at least give me your name?”
“Looking to marry me?”
“Not what I meant.”
“No need to worry yourself. If your madam is well-informed, she will know who I am from your description.”
“Huh? Why would she know?”
“You are a group specializing in intelligence, right?”
“I will not answer that question!”
“Fine. Take her and leave.”
Ninja stares at me for a moment.
“You do understand that if she wakes up, I will keep you with me forever. Do you want that?”
“Hell no, bye!”
Ninja runs away carrying girl.
“Are you awake now? I give you permission to speak.”
I am still unable to properly move but I know she is listening.
“Yes, mistress.”
“Good. Rest for now and then we will leave. I am unable to move so carry me.”
“No issues.”
I hear Sylvia walk towards me. She stands over me and I can see parts of her face. The mask has been burned in some places.
“Feel free to take that off.”
“Yes, mistress.”
Sylvia removes the remaining parts of the mask and I see her hands shaking.
“How was it?”
Sylvia does not respond.
“Did you have fun?”
“No, mistress.”
“You will need to get used to it. This will be our future after all.”
Sylvia stays silent. She is probably thinking about what she can do.
“Is leader’s body intact?”
“Yes. No visible injuries.”
“Good. Search his body. Anything we can use is probably with him.”
Sylvia stands as she searches his dead body. I lay down in silence as I wait for Sylvia to finish her task.
“Here, mistress.”
After a few minutes, Sylvia returns with several notebooks.
“Good. Rest while I read through all of these.”
“Understood, mistress.”
I read through all of them. It seems that leader has had some dealings with other groups from other countries but there are no names. It would have been easier if I could have questioned him but they killed him already. No matter, I can provide these as proof for father. As for the dealings with the prime minister, I will be keeping those with me. I try to stand up again but the pain stops me from doing so.
“Tsk. How bothersome. Sylvia, we shall leave this place. You will carry me. Make sure to be careful.
“Of course, mistress.”
Sylvia picks me up in a princess carry.
“Do you know the exit?”
“No, mistress but it does not matter. I will open our own exit.”
I wonder if ninja found an exit? It would be amusing if she is currently lost.
“Go ahead. Do not pay mind to any disturbances it will cause.”
Sylvia nods and she destroys the surroundings. She digs through the earth, eventually getting on the surface.
“Make sure to destroy this place.”
Sylvia puts me down as someone suddenly jumps from the hole.
“You can’t catch me!”
Ninja runs away with girl as she lands in front of us. Sylvia looks towards me.
“Do not mind her. Let her be. Do what I commanded you to do.”
Sylvia covers the hole with more ground covering it from others. If anyone finds it, they can venture in the caves of corpses.
“Good. Now, bring me home.”
After a long time of travelling, it is finally time to go home.
