After they finished their duel, they heard the alarm horn being blown, which made them rush to the surface of the cave to see a massive group of orcs attacking the village and the cave.
Realization dawned upon the group as they understood that the orcs Johanna was just raped from were merely scouts, the vanguard of a much larger force. With little time to spare, they sprang into action, rallying the goblins and gathering their defences within the cave. The orcs, though formidable, found themselves unable to pursue the goblins into the narrow confines of the cave, their size and bulk proving to be a hindrance in the cramped quarters. They were able to enter, but with only one or two fitting troughs at the same time, they could easily be stopped by three goblins with spears.
But their respite was short-lived, as the rumble of approaching footsteps signalled the arrival of yet another army. This time, it was not the orcs but a human army, their banners flying high as they charged towards the army of orcs. Unbeknownst to them, Johanna and her sons were the ones responsible for the raid on the human village.
With chaos unfolding around them, Johanna devised a plan to save her sons and her companions. Knowing that the human army would not hesitate to attack the orcs and goblins on sight, she decided to close off the cave entrance so that no enemies could enter any more, but she didn’t want to stay in this cave forever, so she decided to pretend to be a hostage of the orc army to be taken back to the human city by their army.
Before she departed, Johanna bid farewell to Ethan and Noah, her heart heavy with the weight of uncertainty. She urged them to continue their journey and to strive for greatness in her absence, knowing that their strength and courage would carry them through whatever trials lay ahead.
With a heavy heart, Johanna closed off the entrance to the cave and ran to the human army, her eyes fixed on the cave entrance as she disappeared into the distance. A soldier on horseback noticed her and picked her up, asking her what she was doing here. Johanna answered in a sweet and innocent voice that she was one of the girls in the villages that got raided by the orcs. The soldier nodded in agreement and answered her with a calming voice that everything was going to turn out fine, and as she rode away from the battlefield, she whispered a silent prayer for the safety of her sons and the hope of a brighter future for them all.
As Johanna was taken away by the human soldiers, she couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness at leaving behind her sons and the goblins. Yet she knew that this sacrifice was necessary to ensure their safety and to finish her quest given by God. With determination in her heart, she resolved to make the most of this opportunity to gather intelligence on the human army and find a way to reunite with her companions.
Meanwhile, back at the cave, Ethan and Noah watched in dismay as their mother was walking away. Despite their initial shock, they quickly composed themselves and began to formulate a plan to meet her expectations of them. With the help of Aiko and the other goblins, they will build a mighty army, attack human villages, and gather strength to satisfy their mother when she finally returns.
Johanna watched the battle commence before her cave and saw how overwhelming the human forces were. She promised herself that she has to get way stronger to be able to help her sons out and that she needs to sleep with way stronger monsters; otherwise, she and her children will perish in this all-powerful world. After two more hours of waiting near the commander’s tents, the battle finally ended in human favour. They were able to use magic and soldiers in such an efficient way that it was unbelievable that if this army were to face her forces, they would perish in less than 10 minutes.
The soldier who “rescued” her on the battlefield returned and gave her a little guide through the camp they were setting up. He introduced her to a few of his friends, and she tried to be as friendly to everyone as she could. After a while, the two of them stand before the commander’s tent again, and the soldier asks her to follow him inside, where a middle-aged man was sitting and drinking beer. The soldier introduced Johanna to the captain and asked what should be done about her. The captain looked at her for a whole minute in complete silence and then said, “I didn’t think my soldiers were this stupid.” He raised his voice even more and yelled. “We can’t leave her here, so we take her with us, of course, you stupid!!!” He took a few deep breaths to calm down and then looked up at the soldier to ask,What are you waiting for? Build her a tent and leave already.”
The two of them left the tent, and as they got away, a few steps later, Johanna began to chuckle and say,Well, he doesn’t seem like the kindest.” The soldier responds,Well, he doesn’t seem like the kindest and is pretty harsh, but in the end, he likes us all pretty much. Oh, I’m Danny, by the way.” “Nice to meet you, I’m Johanna.”
